For whom osteopathy?
In principle osteopaths takes all sorts of patients.
The success of osteopathy depends on some of the following:
• Are there tissues in your body with lesser mobility that cause complaints, or are related to these?
• Is this loss of mobility totally or partially curable, or is the tissue affected to such a degree that there is no recovery possible?
• What is the degree of your powers of recovery, that is to say, your vitality, and are you able to contribute to your recovery, by changing your eating habits and/or your life style?
An osteopathic examination will make it clear to what extent osteopathy can be of assistance and the mode of treatment.
The osteopath does not replace physicians, specialists, children’s doctors or health centres. We recommend to see your doctor when having medical complaints, in order to exclude any possible illnesses.
